Masaki Kohana is an associate professor at the faculty of global informatics, Chuo university, Tokyo, Japan. His research interests include web-based systems, distributed systems, and text mining. He received his Ph.D., M.E., and B.E. degrees in Seikei university, Tokyo, Japan, in 2008, 2010, and 2013, respectively. He was an assistant professor at the faculty of engineering, Ibaraki university, Japan, from 2017 to 2019, and an assistant professor at the faculty of science and engineering, Seikei university, Japan, from 2013 to 2017. He is a member of the Information Processing Society of Japan (IPSJ), the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE), the Associated Computer Machinery (ACM), and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
